This is a busy time of the year for athletes: The Australian Open, the Super Bowl, the NHL Stadium Series, early events on the PGA Tour, spring training and, of course, the Winter Olympic Games. There are many conference competitions in college and high school too.

While we all may not be training for these top-level competitions, we are all (weekend) warriors. Yes, that is a wink to the New England Patriots.
